This is an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Marcomms Manager to join a premium food business with a long and proud Australian history. Our Client is wishing to appoint an ambitious and passionate Marketing & Communications Manager or Executive, ready to step up to join this fast growing Australian success story.
As the lead in Communications &  PR you will report directly to the General Manager in a role that sees you assisting in the implementation of PR, Communication & Marketing strategies in both domestic and international markets.

Your responsibilities will include
-Connecting with all food media
-Assisting in the implementation of PR and communications initiatives with the Founder
-Assisting the trade team in support of trade marketing material
-Drove Social media initiatives

Suitable candidates will have an interest in fine food, 3-5 years in PR or communications (preferably client & agency role), excellent writing and communications skills, be a super organised self-starter with the ability to work to and manage your own day-to- day calendar. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to work in a team environment and be ambitious .

Ideally you will have

  • University degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years PR, social or other marketing experience

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of the media landscape in  food, lifestyle, travel and or beverage
  • Social savvy: Knowledge of how to use and communicate through social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and LinkedIn
  • Highly organised: Proficient ability to manage reporting and WIP documents
